Jelly Bubble Stay Away — Poop King Raid
Survive a map-center boss, dodge inventory wipes, and coordinate soap shots for the 500-point kill bonus.
Stay Away began as a joke in a BINGOBELL team chat and shipped anyway — which explains everything about Jelly Bubble’s design philosophy. This cooperative-leaning mode drops a massive boss, Poop King, into the center of the arena while jellies scramble to avoid infection, preserve soap, and chip away two health bars before someone lands the cinematic final hit worth 500 points. Stay Away is the antidote to pure PvP toxicity: you still collide with friends, but the shared enemy gives squads a common target.

Mode overview
When Stay Away starts, Poop King occupies the map midpoint and actively hunts players. The arena shrinks visually around the boss aura in some official layouts, but the core loop is consistent:
- Collect soap using standard ground spawns at the edges.
- Stay mobile — standing near the boss triggers melee swipes and inventory attacks.
- Launch soap projectiles at the boss to burn through two stacked health pools.
- Coordinate the finisher — the jelly who deals the killing blow earns a massive 500-point bonus toward the match leaderboard.
Player elimination can still happen if you get knocked into hazards, but the primary failure state is losing your entire soap inventory to the boss’s infection attack.
Poop King boss mechanics
Poop King is not a reskinned PvP target. BINGOBELL gave the boss unique rules called out in DEVBLOG #5:
Dual health bars — the first bar represents armor-style padding; the second bar is the real kill window. Teams often burn abilities on bar one, then save blast soaps for the burn phase.
Inventory infection — periodic attacks inject junk into your soap slots, destroying carried types. This is why hoarding rare soap mid-fight is punished harder here than in score rush.
Center dominance — the boss anchors the middle, forcing edge spawns and lateral kiting. Maps with side boost pads (Map Editor staples) become easier official layouts for new groups.
Final blow spotlight — only the last hit awards 500 points, but partial damage still contributes to assist-style score in some builds. Check the post-match breakdown to see how your lobby weights participation.
Soap as projectile weapons
Stay Away is where DEVBLOG #3’s soap projectile pitch fully lands. You are expected to fire soap rather than only carry it to a deposit pad:
- Blast soaps — reliable boss DPS with knockback that can accidentally hit allies; space yourselves.
- Shield Soap — activates when incoming soap hits you, granting a temporary bubble that blocks negative effects; critical when the boss lobs infection payloads.
- Steal soaps — less valuable against Poop King but still pull PvP opportunists off your healers during burn phases.
The in-game tutorial (also on the Getting Started page) demonstrates launching soap to strip two regular pieces from an opponent — the same input fires at the boss with scaled damage based on stack size. Larger jellies hit harder but move slower, mirroring score rush trade-offs from Steal, Soap & Score.
Survival priorities
New groups wipe when everyone DPSes simultaneously without a survival plan. Use this priority list:
Tier 1 — dodge infection — if your HUD flashes inventory warning, dash outward and switch repel color to create space.
Tier 2 — maintain one defensive soap — Shield Soap or Shell Guard equivalents prevent a single burst from zeroing your loadout.
Tier 3 — assign DPS windows — two players fire while two collect edge spawns; rotate when infection cooldown ends.
Tier 4 — call the finisher — announce when bar two is below ten percent so friends stop stealing the 500-point kill with accidental blast AoE.
Voice chat is nearly mandatory online; local split-screen works if one player dedicates to callouts.
Color physics in boss fights
Attract and repel still apply among jellies and some boss hitboxes during charge attacks:
- Match color with a friend to merge-heal or share a defensive soap activation timing.
- Repel color saves you when the boss charge paths through your cluster — bounce outward instead of absorbing the hit.
Do not forget PvP: trailing players sometimes chase the 500-point kill by repelling the leader into the boss. Treat friendly fire as part of the comedy, or disable it if your lobby rules allow.
Recommended loadouts
| Role | Soap focus | Movement |
|---|---|---|
| Boss DPS | Blast + heavy stack | Double jump dash for kite paths |
| Support | Shield + utility | Repel color default |
| Collector | Steal + sprint utility | Edge spawn routes only |
| Closer | Saved blast for sub-10% bar | Dash finisher positioning |
Cross-reference families on the Soap Tier List — defensive soaps rank higher here than in pure PvP rush.
Player counts and matchmaking
Stay Away supports 2–4 local friends and up to six online, though coordination shines at three or four humans. Six-player queues devolve into projectile friendly fire unless teams agree on role calls upfront.
Remote Play Together works if the host has stable upload bandwidth — see Multiplayer Setup. The mode is less latency-sensitive than Soap Battle cannon races but still punishes 200 ms+ input delay on dodge windows.
Achievements and events
Completing a Stay Away round counts toward session-based achievements like Start the Party. Clip the 500-point finishing blow for Creator Challenge submissions — BINGOBELL highlighted “Most Chaotic Battle” as an award category, and Poop King clutches qualify.
Launch status and future updates
Stay Away shipped in the August 4, 2026 launch build alongside Bubble Soccer after the April 2026 devblog reveal. Balance passes may adjust infection frequency or boss HP — follow the Launch Update recap and ongoing Updates hub for hotfixes.
